Durian. Indonesian government is expecting to have covid-19 vaccine by December 2020 and hoping for national vaccination to begin in 2021, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Pandjaitan said on Dec.2.

Indonesia has been conducting clinical trials for several candidate vaccines including from China and South Korea.

‘’If all goes according to plan, God willing, we hope that the supply of covid-19 vaccines will be ready by December 2020 and soon will be followed up by the expensive vaccinations across the country in 2021,’’he added.

Separately Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that Indonesia is starting to see its economy to recover in the third quarter of 2020.
