Liuzhou - A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck Liuzhou City in Guangxi Zhuang region on Monday, 18 May 2026 morning local time, left two residents killed and a 91-year old man was rescued from the residential building's rubbles, Xinhua news agency reported.
The earthquake took place about 11.10am local time, damaging buildings, including a vertical residential building where earlier three people were buried under the rubbles.

Later, rescuers found two bodies under the debris and another person, the 91 years old man, survived.
