Durian. Indonesia’s National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) said that rescuers have completed their evacuation process at the site where landslides have occurred in Sumedang regency, West Java on Jan.18, with total casualty was 40.
The natural disaster took place on Jan.9, was triggered by torrential rains.
Search and rescue operation at the affected area was ended on tenth day because all of reported missing person had been found on Jan.18, head of Bandung’s search and rescue office Deden Ridwansyah said.
However, emergency relief will be continued up tp Jan.29 as it’s announced by Sumedang regent Dony Ahmad Munir since the disaster was happened.
There are more than 1,100 individuals are still living at temporary shelters as of Jan.18.
