Durian. An Indonesia-flag tanker carrying 5,900 kilo liter fuel caught on fire when approaching anchorage at Bintaro coast, in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara on Sunday afternoon, 14 crew are survived and three others are missing.

MT Kristin was rented by Pertamina International Shipping, a subsidiary of Indonesia’s state-run oil and gas company Pertamina. It carried fuel for storage in Ampenan and Sandaran .

Rescuers have been searching for tree missing crews, while firefighters have been battling to extinguish the fire.

An official from another Pertamina’s subsidiary Pertamina Patra Niaga said fuel stock at Ampenan storage are enough for the next three days.
