Sandakan - Fire rampaged Kampung Bahagia, a floating village, in the coast of Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia on Sunday, 19 April 2026 burnt at least 200 houses and at least 1000 people lost place to stay.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation as the local government keep battling the fire.
No casualties have been reported yet, according to local government. Damage caused by the fire is likely to rise as the fire continues burning makeshift houses in a dense populated area.***
