Durian. Two Indonesian crews from Iran-flag fishing boat Farsi have returned to Indonesia after being detained for about four months by Iranian authorities in Chabahar, Sistan-Balochistan province, Indonesian embassy in Tehran said on Jan.26 or Jan.27 Indonesian time.
The two Indonesian – Safik Erwanto from Lampung and Mohamad Solek from Cirebon, West Java – have departed from Iran for Indonesia on Jan.26 and are expected to arrive in Jakarta on Jan. 27.
According to Indonesian embassy in Tehran, Farsi fishing boat with all of its crews was detained by Iranian authorities due to operational permit problem.
Erwanto and Solek worked onboard the fishing boat for two years until they were released by the authorities.
Indonesian embassy in Tehran had assisted Erwanto and Solek and ensured their rights as workers such as their payment had been settled before helping them to return to Indonesia.
