Durian. Continues rain that poured in several areas in Malaysia this week has forced over 42,000 people evacuated in six states and paddy fields flooded.

Floods have affected Pahang, Melaka, Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Serawak states since the rain started pouring on Tuesday, according to Malaysian state news agency Bernama on Saturday.

Security personnel have been deploying to flood-affected areas and working tireless.

Related government agency recorded that rainfall in Johor state on Friday hit record high since 1991 at 731 millimetres compared to 621 millimetres in one month in December 1991.
