Durian. Indonesian President Joko Widodo launched the beginning of 2021 cash aids distribution to all citizens who are affected by covid-19 pandemic across Indonesia on Jan.4 at State Palace in Jakarta.

The aid will be distributed by state-owned banks BRI, BNI, Mandiri and BTN as well as postal company Pos Indonesia.

It will be into three packages – what so-called hopeful family program (PKH), nine-basic necessities (sembako) and social cash aids (BST).

First package will be distributed in four terms in a year through state-owned banks, while for nine-basic necessities in the form of cash to be shared every month which each family to receive Rp 200,000 ($14) each month in 12 months.

Pos Indonesia will distribute the third package in which each family to get Rp 300,000 monthly in four months, January to April 2021.

The government has budged Rp 28.7 trillion for hopeful family program, Rp 42.5 trillion for nine-basic necessities and Rp 12 trillion for social cash aids to be used in 2021.

President Widodo has ordered government leaders in regional level to guard the distribution of cash aids, so it can be soon received by the right recipients immediately.

The cash aid programs are aimed to move domestic economy.
