Durian. Delegations from three coastal countries – Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore – are meeting in Yogyakarta, Indonesia to discuss about navigation fund in 27th Aids to Navigation Fund (ANF) committee meeting.

The two-day meeting started on Tuesday in which participant countries will present their third quarter report on maritime navigation maintenance and progress.

The series of ANS meetings are part of the implementation of UNCLOS 1982 among coastal states, especially countries that lie along the maritime environment in the Malacca Straits and the Singapore Strait.

According to a statement from the Indonesian Transportation Ministry, during this ANS committee meeting, participant countries will explain their 2023 programs, include proposal from Indonesia to build Iyu Kecil Lighthouse, Batu Berhati General Mark Light Beacon, Tanjung Parit Lighthouse and Gosong Pasir North Cardinal Light Beacon.
