Durian. Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Justice and Human Rights Ministry on Wednesday signed a commitment agreement on The Implement of Quick Corruption Prevention in Jakarta.
The importance part of the commitment is the using of beneficial ownership data to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, according to Justice and Human Rights Minister Yasonna Laoly after the signing of the commitment agreement at the KPK’s headquarters.
“We are ensuring that Indonesia has a surveillance system as well as record of beneficial ownership comprehensively, efficient and accurate according to international standard and also effective as one of law enforcement elements, so it can protect the people, businessmen and investors,” Minister Yasonna said.
