Durian. President Joko Widodo on Wednesday attended a ground-breaking ceremony of hydro-power plant Mentarang Induk that is integrated with Kalimantan Industrial Park Indonesia (KIPI) in Bulungan regency, in supporting of the country’s transition into green economy.
The industrial park is situated in North Kalimantan. According to President Widodo, the hydro-power plant will integrate Bulungan area and areas surrounding Mentarang River.
KIPI is expected to produce battery for electronic vehicles, also for aluminium and petrochemical industries.
