Durian. Indonesian President Joko Widodo, or popular known as Jokowi, led the first cabinet meeting in his second term of governing the country on Oct.24 where he called all ministers to collect and identify the problem of overlapping regulations.
The president who was accompanied by Vice President Ma’ruf Amin warned his ministers to work as a team, prioritize cooperation, consolidation and coordination.
“Please all ministries to take a look on it [overlapping regulations]. Collect them [regulations] that can slower our work, public services, obstacles for investments within one month. We will discuss about them within two weeks. We will lift them within another two weeks, so we can work faster,” the president said.
He reminded the ministers about the current government goal which to create jobs.
