Durian. Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Aug.25 inaugurated a 13-kilometer toll road, the first in the country westernmost province of Aceh.
The road is connecting Indrapuri and Blang Bintang which is part of Sigli-Banda Aceh toll road project with total 74 kilometer length.
Sigli-Banda Aceh toll road will integrated into 2,765 kilometer Trans Sumatra toll road, connecting Aceh to Lampung which is expected to be completed by 2024.
“We hope that by having this new infrastructure, there will new spots of economic development,” President Widodo said on Aug.25 in Aceh Besar, Aceh.
The infrastructure project has created many jobs.
