Jakarta - A magnitude 7.4 earthquake shook Japan on Monday, 20 April 2026 with the center of the tremor about 100.6 km Northeast of Miyako in Iwate Prefecture, no casualties and damaged are reported so far.
According to United States Global Survey (USGS), the quake occurred 5.53pm local time in the 35 km depth.
The center of the earthquake was at the sea.***
