Durian. Indonesia’s volcano Mount Merapi on Saturday erupted, spewing ashes from its crater several times, forcing authorities to issue a warning, asking the people to avoid areas in its slope.
According to the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB), the volcano started spewing ashes in early afternoon hours on Saturday. At least three huge eruptions were happened on Saturday.
The eruption was flowing through Bebeng River and Krasak River to Boyong River.
Therefore, the people forbid to conduct their activities in the area around five to seven kilometre from the crater.
