Washington DC - Kazakhstan wants to participate in the restoration and construction by international parties, based on the country's expertises, as well as to support the International Stabilization Force (ISF), President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said in his remarks at the first meeting of the Board of Peace (BoP) in Washington DC on Thursday, 19 February 2026.
Beginning his remarks, President Tokayev praised US President Donald Trump's clear vision on far-sighted approach to promoting global peace and stability that inspired him to decide Kazakhstan joining the BoP.
Kazakhstan is one of 19 founders of Board of Peace, initiated by President Donald Trump.

Further, President Tokayev said with the global situation "it is absolutely unprecedented because in essence “Peace through Construction” is a very innovative concept or project and it has every chance to become a reality by our joint efforts,".
"Kazakhstan is also keen to be part of the restoration and construction process through international companies with strong credentials. This programme may include the construction of infrastructure, housing, residential complexes, schools, hospitals and other important civilian facilities," President Tokayev continued.
He also said that Kazakhstan is ready to provide humanitarian assistance, knowing that the Central Asia country is one of the world’s major producers of wheat.
"Kazakhstan is ready to provide humanitarian assistance to enhance food security in Gaza and beyond," he said,
In his speech, President Tokayev explained some programs for Palestinians that Kazakhstan has planned for, including to provide five hundred educational scholarships to Palestinian students study in its universities, and provide digital solutions.
Under the leadership of President Passim-Jomart Tokayev, Kazakhstan has been developing its digital ecosystem robust, including the establishment of a Digital Hub in the capital city of Astana, inviting global digital communities to be there.
