Durian. Celebrating Lunar New Year 2570 on Feb.5, Indonesian authority has given sentence reduction to 30 prisoners for their good behaviour.
The sentence reduction, range from 15-45 days, was given to those prisoners who hold Confushionism, the penitentiary directorate general at the Human Rights Ministry said in a statement.
As of Feb.4, there were 183,986 convicts and 69,527 detainees in all prisons across Indonesia, according to the ministry data.
Total 65 inmates follow Confushionism. The convits who received the sentence cut are from prisons in Riau Islands, North Sumatra, Banten, Jakarta,West Java, Central Java, West Kalimantan, West Nusa Tunggara and South Sulawesi.
