Passenger traffic at the Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) international airport in Tangerang, Banten, has hit 142,268 people ahead of national holiday Idul Fitri.

A senior manager at Soetta, M. Holik Muardi, explained that as of Tuesday, 85,446 passengers departed from while 62,822 people arrived at the airport, bringing the total figure to more than 142,000.

Antara also reported that the number of flights increased during the major holiday season in Indonesia. On the same day, the airport serves 1,098 flights, consisting of 550 departures and 548 arrivals.

Lastly, Soetta’s management also revealed that the most flight and passenger movements occur at Terminal 3, followed with Terminal 2 and 1.
