Durian. Thousands of Rohingya refugees are estimated affected as fire inflamed the world’s largest refugee camp Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh on Sunday morning.

According to the Denise Refugee Council, Cox’s Bazar refugee camp is hosting less than one million Rohingya refugees and they are living in densely populated camp.

Meanwhile, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC) representative in Bangladesh said the fire broke out at camp 11 and spread to different blocks. As of Sunday afternoon fire has been under control.

There is no official data on damage or casualties caused by the fire so far.

Ethnic Rohingya people are recognized stateless under international category as they are denied as Myanmar citizens or Bangladeshis.
