Kyiv - Ukraine’s Foreign Andrii Sybiha hosted Ambassadors of foreign states, leaders of the Crimean Tatar people, and representatives of Ukraine’s muslim community for an iftar, an integral part of the holy month of Ramadan for muslims around the world on Friday, 6 March 2026 in Kyiv.

Ukraine is home to over a million muslims, mostly Crimean Tatar people.

“This year we observe Ramadan in even more difficult and turbulent times for the world, including the Middle East. Ukraine is closely monitoring developments and expresses solidarity with the states and peoples facing the reckless aggression of the Iranian regime,” Minister noted.
