Jakarta - Iranian Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia on Saturday, 28 February 2028 issued a statement regarding United States of America and Israel's joint military attacks on the Persian nation's soil, calling the United Nations (UN) to take action and stating that its military will defense the country's territory.
The embassy confirmed that US and Israel joint military operation, called by Israel as "Lion's Roar" operation, have attacked civilians locations and vital infrastructure in Tehran and other cities across the country.
"The United States of America and Zionist Israel regime on Saturday morning, 28 February 2026, in an action or other aggressions, have launched attacks toward civilians locations and vital infrastructure in Tehran and several other cities, that is violating the territory integrity and national sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran," the embassy said.
Iran, a cofounder of the UN, said those attacks have violated UN Charter, therefore, its military have rights to defend the country.
