Jakarta - Indonesian Government expects to finalize the merge of its state-owned logistic enterprises soon, hoping to boost strength and create efficiency, Head of State-Owned Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN) said on Monday, 16 March 2026 in Jakarta.

Indonesia has a number of state-owned logistic companies, including postal firm PT Pos, Semen Logistik, Pupuk Logistik, Angkasa Pura Logistik and KAI Logistik.

"We have a lot of business lines that are moving around logistic business, therefore, we want them more efficient, getting better, stronger, so, our next step is marge them," Dony Oskaria, head of BP BUMN and COO of Danantara said about the reason behind the plan.

He said the consolidation and merge of state-owned logistic firms is expected to complete by the first semester of 2026, starting with restructuring board of directors of PT Pos that has been finalized.

"God's willing, hopefully within next four months it has been completed. The target is still to be finalized in the first semester," Dony

At least four main works need to be done as part of fundamental business reviews for each company before moving forward to the marge phase. Each business unit will be assessed on its liquidity, disinvestment, consolidation and restructuring, the official said.***
