Wonosobo, Pekalongan - As part of Eid-al Fitr celebrations, Indonesians held air balloon festivals on Saturday, 28 March 2026 and Sunday, 29 March 2026 in two locations in Indonesia's Central Java Province - Wonosobo and Pekalongan.
The festivals in the two regencies were annual celebrations and assisted by Indonesian Transport Ministry through its Directorate General of Aviation in cooperation with AirNav and police to educate people on safety to release air balloon to the air.
In Pekalongan, the festival was held on Saturday and in Wonosobo on Sunday. Here are stills that captured the festivities.
