Tehran – Iran accuses drone attack incident, impacted Aramco’s oil refinery Ras Tanura in Saudi Arabia was an Israeli false flag operation, aimed to scapegoating Iran, state media outlet Tasnim reported on Tuesday, 3 March 2026.
According to the report, Iranian officials stated that Iran authorities have never targeted Saudi Aramco facilities and Israel would make United Arab Emirates' Fujairah Port as the next target.
“This morning's attack on Saudi Arabia's oil facilities was carried out by Israel and is an example of a false flag operation. According to data provided to us by intelligence sources, the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates is also one of Israel's next targets as part of a false flag operation,” the source said, as quoted as saying.
The report is in line with the statement by American journalist and political commentator Tucker Carlson, who revealed that the Saudi Arabian and Qatari authorities had “detained Israeli Mossad agents” who were planning bomb attacks in those countries.
“Why is Israel carrying out bomb attacks in Gulf countries, which are also being attacked by Iran? Aren't they on the same side? Israel wants to hurt Iran, Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, and Kuwait,” he said on The Tucker Carlson Show on Monday.
Carlson also said on his show that Israel is deliberately sowing chaos among the United States' Arab allies. In February, Israeli security officials detained Carlson and his team immediately after interviewing U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee.
Saudi Defense Ministry earlier confirmed that it managed to intercept and destroy two drones from Iran, attempted to attack Aramco Ras Tanura Refinery on Monday. ***
