Denpasar - Ngurah Rai Immigration office arrested a 45-year old British national at Ngurah Rai International Airport upon arrival from Singapore on Saturday, 28 March 2026.
The man, given initial as S.L., was arrested during his immigration process at the airport when the system detected him as a subject of a red notice from Interpol.
"Based on intelligence data, S.L. is strongly suspected as a leader of an international crime organization. He is allegedly the mastermind behind the operative of a number of fictive companies and involved in money laundering," the immigration office said.
in a video released by the immigration office shows the man was escorted with a number of police and immigration officers, walking freely with casual outfits.
"Bali will never become a safe hiding place for International fugitive," Head of Ngurah Rai Immigration office Bugie Kurniawan said.
Ngurah Rai Immigration office handed over the man to the Indonesian Police for further investigation. ***
