Bali - Extreme weather has caused torrential rains that triggered floods on Tuesday, 24 February 2026 in several areas in Indonesia's most popular tourist destination of Bali, including areas in Denpasar where flood water reached over 1.5 meter high. 

Residents were evacuated to safe locations, however, heavy rains and strong winds became obstacles for search and rescue team during the evacuation process, according to Komang Sudiarsa, a field coordinator for the evacuation.

Flood victims evacuation were conducted by a join team, led by the regional Search and Rescue (SAR) team. Here are some photos, taken by Bali's SAR team during the evacuation process.
