Jakarta - India Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Jakarta on Monday, 6 July 2026 afternoon and was welcomed by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in person at Air Force Base Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta.
In the morning, President Prabowo received Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and delegation for Indonesia-Singapore annual Leaders' Retreat in which the two head of states have witnessed the signing of 26 agreements in various sectors - 18 were between government to government and eight others were business to business.

Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono who was among President Prabowo's entourage to welcome PM Modi at the airport said that some agreements are going to be signed on Tuesday, 7 July during the two leaders official meeting.
"As for the countries cooperations, there will be some agreements and MoUs to be discussed and signed tomorrow," Minister Sugiono told journalists.

Agreements and MoUs that are going to be signed between Indonesia and India covering education, health, and technology development, Minister Sugiono explained further.
PM Modi and entourage will visit Yogyakarta after bilateral meeting with President Prabowo and delegation.
In Yogyakarta, PM Modi is scheduled to visit Prambanan Temple, Indonesia's largest Hindu temple that was built in 9th century.
