Tehran - Iranian government on Friday, 20 March 2026 released photos showing some part of Tehran business areas where people are buying stuffs in preparing to welcome Nowrooz, Persian's New Year.

This year, Nowrooz falls on 20 March. Iranians prepare to welcome Nowrooz in the midst of war, following United States (US) and Israel's joint military operation, called Roaring Lion, against Iran, started on 28 February 2026.
